Set shortcut keys for applications in Windows

Right click on the application shortcut and navigate to properties. Under Shortcut tab you can find a label called shortcut key (this is where you have to set the key for application). Just enter the key as shown below.

In the snap I have assigned a shortcut key for Internet.

Note: Instead of giving alphabets, you can also give numbers.

Disable Chrome extensions temporarily or permanently

Click on the wrench icon available on the right corner and move to Extensions as shown.

To temporarily disable the extension uncheck (enable), if you wish to completely remove the extension click on remove and proceed further.

Registry Trick to enable or Disable Ctrl + Alt + Del when you Login

To disable Ctrl + Alt + Del screen open registry editor (Run–>Regedit) and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

In the right pane you can find a DWORD called DisableCAD (Disable Ctrl + Alt + Del), double click and enter 1 to disable (0 to enable).

Note: Editing registry values may lead to serious issues, so kindly have a registry backup before editing.

Enter your sub domain name which you wish to create as shown below.

Sub domain has been created successfully.

Note: Same login credentials used for sub domain cPanel too.

Configure pidgin to access Facebook chat from desktop

You can get latest version of pidgin here. After installation configure the plugin as shown below.

Select Facebook chat, enter your username (or email-id) and resource as pidgin.

Note: Also check that the port no. is 5222 under advanced settings.

In the same way you can configure other chat services.

Steps to Create Email id for your domain via cPanel

Login to cPanel (to login into cPanel http://yourdomainname.com/cpanel or http://yourdomainname.com:2082). You can find Email Accounts under Mail as shown below.

Here you can create id for you domain.

You can also allot space for mail box (using Mailbox Quota) as shown below.

You can now log in with your id via Webmail option available under Mail.

How to forward Emails from Yahoo Mail to Other Mail ID

If you wish to forward the mails from Y Mail to other mail, you need to enable Forwarding option available in YMail. You can find forwarding options under Advanced options as shown below.

Enter the mail id and select the type of forwarding.

Check for the activation link and enable email forwarding.
